deborah lippmann custom-created this polish, called stormy weather, for the narciso rodriguez a/w ’11 show. the show had a sophisticated urban feel to it with a concrete color palate that seemed perfectly suited to the color lippmann created for the show. there were pops of color to be found in the collection, but those seemed relegated to color-blocking and a very few patterns. the dresses were shin-skimming, beautifully draped and grounded with a flat, pointed boot rodriguez had the models wear, reflecting the practical feel of the collection.
