tibi’s spring collection showcased the effortless cool the brand for which the brand is known. the collection featured plenty of crop tops — what’s going to be the it item of the spring. i loved the different silhouettes, some loose and boxy, others feminine and floaty.
the nail art for the show was one of my favorite designs from new york fashion week. the nails, done by jin soon using her own line, featured vertical and horizontal lines that mean ‘alright’ in a code used by hobos to discreetly communicate with each other. she used an unreleased grayish white color as the base as well as the color ‘obsidian’ for the lines. to get the look, start with a gray base — i used nars galathee here (one of my all time favorite polishes) and oscar de la renta asphalt for the line art.
