for throw back thursday, we’re headed back to chanel resort 2011. the color used on the  runway is probably one of my favorite colors of all time, called riva. jade rose also made an appearance at this show, but it was riva that stood out in the sea of tanned bodies in breezy dresses and smart swimwear. the show took place in saint tropez, and the location couldn’t have suited the collection better. models arrived at the quai jean jaurès via speedboat and took a turn down the runway in the middle of the sénéquier cafe, where the gallery was invited to watch from the famed red tables.

riva is a hard color to come by. my best advice is to try to catch a good deal on ebay. if you know of where to find it for cheap, let me know! i could use a backup of this gorgeous color.
