it was a dark and stormy night at gareth pugh this season. i loved the nails at the show, done by mac cosmetics. they created a frosted, gray gradient for the show, and they used pencil shavings to dirty the models’ nails and cuticles as a final step. to recreate the look, i started with a gray ombre using essie licorice, zoya carey, and zoya purity. then, i rubbed some loose, matte white eyeshadow powder over each nail when the ombre was dry. lastly, i tried the pencil shavings and now i probably have lead poisoning.
