charlotte ronson’s fall ready to wear collection was an homage to the designer’s english heritage. there were plenty of tweeds and even a bit of tartan to be found. i pictured a young socialite going on a modern day fox hunt … and then later going on a motorcycle ride through the english countryside.
the nails , done by simcha whitehill for color club, featured five variations on the same ‘picture frame’ effect, ranging from “black and white, light and dark gray, purple and red, purple and green, and deep blue and sand.” it was a nice nod to the mod/sixties feel of the collection.
